After growing up in Central Indiana in Frankfort, he attended Indiana University in Bloomington (1982-87). He completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology. He then obtained his medical degree, MD, at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis (1987-1991).

Following medical school, he completed his residency in general surgery (1991-1997) at Michigan State University in East Lansing successfully achieving board certification by the American Board of Surgery. During his general surgery residency, he simultaneously completed his Master’s Degree in Basic Surgical Science.

His plastic and reconstructive surgery residency training (1997-1997) was at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, which has a level one trauma center and an ABA accredited burn unit. He has been board certified in Plastic Surgery since finishing his training in 2000. He actively maintains his American Board of Plastic Surgery certification.

Finally, he also received extra-specialized training in plastic surgery completing a fellowship (1999-2000) in breast reconstruction and aesthetic plastic surgery at Baptist Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He pro-actively stays abreast of new and emerging technology and participates in extensive current medical education.

After coming to Fort Wayne in 2000, he previously had an extensive practice in burn surgery working in the St. Joe Burn center. He performed extensive trauma plastic surgery at Parkview and Lutheran Hospitals, as well. Moreover, he has extensive experience treating melanoma and skin cancer patients performing cancer resection with complex flap and surgical wound repair.

Based upon his knowledge and training from his FELLOWSHIP in breast and aesthetic surgery, he performs all types of breast surgery including breast reductions, breast reconstructions and breast augmentation/lifts. He also has extensive experience performing breast asymmetry equalization and breast implant exchanges and breast implant removal.

Finally, he has extensive experience and performs a broad range of cosmetic surgical care including aesthetic and cosmetic plastic surgery of the face and body. He performs neurotoxin (Botox) and filler (Restylane) injections, laser facial skin rejuvination, sclerotherapy and does facial resurfacing.

He was a partner at Summit Plastic Surgery for 17 years (2000-2017) and a member of the Parkview Physicians Group for the last 5 years, (2017-2022). He has been named a top plastic surgeon in the Fort Wayne by Peoples Choice Awards Magazine. He now is delivering high quality care in the private practice setting at Morrison Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery, LLC. He has lived in Fort Wayne for 23 years since finishing his training. He and his wife, Kristin, are proud parents of 5 children.
